Pakistani movie Maalik lost over 5 crores on Box office due to ban, Yes Unofficial reports say that the Pakistani movie Maalik box office collections failed to collect it's spent due to the ban on the movie by the federal govt. The Box office details show that Maalik collects over 3 crores Pakistani Rupees by the end of its the second weekend. Although the Movie was gaining strength on the start of it's the third week due to the withdrawal of Shahrukh Khan's fan from the cinemas but the movie, unfortunately, fall into political controversy. The Sindh Province of the country raised Questions over the content of the movie which later lead to the complete ban of the movie in the province.
Although the Provincial govt had earlier granted a clean chit to the Pakistani film Maalik full movie but still on the govt pressure the sensor board cancels the notification of Maalik screening in the Province.

Later, on the complaint of Sindh govt, the federal govt also came into action and Banned the movie in the entire territory, but there are some reports that PTI-led KP govt will continue the screening of Pakistani movie Maalik which allegedly showing the country's key Politicians in a Bad light.
The Pakistani movie Maalik is not an Ordinary movie, it was a big budget movie, the cast, the locations and the Equipment used in the movie was quite expensive and there is fear among the Movie production team that they may lose over a 5 crore due to the ban on Maalik.
