Pakistan Afghanistan Border Clashes: 4 Afghan soldiers and 1 Pakistani Officer killed

Khyber Agency: Pakistan-Afghanistan Border Clashes: 4 Afghan soldiers and 1 Pakistani Officer killed. According to Local sources in Khyber Agency, the Pakistani Army Major and 4 Afghan soldiers have been killed last night, The fight between Afghan National Army and Pakistan Army Erupted three days Back when Pakistan Army tried to Install a Security Installation on its side of the border to stop the illegal infiltration of the Afghan refugees to Pakistan. The Aljazeera Also reported that nearly 22 Afghan and Pakistani soldiers wounded in three days long clashes near Torkham border cross. The Govt of Pakistan has Appealed its ministers and cabinet to not overreact to the issue, The clashes happening at a time when Pakistan is competing India for NSG membership while at the same time the country's diplomatic mission is more active to block the India's bid for a full-time membership of nuclear Suppliers group, the Country is trying to convince Korea, New Zealand, Switzerland, Russia, china and other countries to back Pakistan's bid for NSG full-time membership.
Both the countries has increased its troops near the disputed Durand line, a Border boundary line which Afghanistan never recognized as an International boundary line. The Afghanistan's Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah has Appealed both the Govts to solve the issue with Diplomatic means and at the same time he also accused Pakistan of showing Aggression. The Clashes stopped yesterday, but later this morning when Pakistan Restarted the construction, the Afghan soldiers reacted with heavy shelling which led to the death of a Major of Pakistan Army while the 4 Afghan soldiers also been killed in the return Firing.

Currently, more than a three million Registered Afghan Refugees are living in Pakistan while more than a hundred afghan Army officers are getting training in the Pakistan's famous Military Academy Known as PMA situated in the beautiful valley of Abbottabad, nearly 100km Away from the capital city of Islamabad. According to the latest reports on Pakistan-Afghanistan Border clashes, the firing still continued and the curfew has been maintained in the Khyber Agency. The Pakistan Army high command has reportedly decided to not use the power against the newly born and comparatively weak and undisciplined Afghan Army because it may harm their ability to fight the terrorists elements inside Afghanistan.
