The 2016 Global Citizen Festival simply declared its ritzy lineup for September's show and—in light of this rundown—it's an event nobody in the Big Apple or viewing from around the globe will wish to miss.
Among the acclaimed faces—and voices—slated to make that big appearance in Central Park are eight-time Grammy champ Rihanna, pop sensation the hot Selena Gomez and "Best Rap Performer" Grammy victor Kendrick Lamar
"I couldn't be more regarded to take an interest in the Global Citizen Festival as it keeps on tackling vital issues far and wide," Gomez said in an announcement for the occasion. "I am especially glad to be included for the current year as the attention is on instruction. Being a singer with huge young fans following, I accept everybody has the privilege to learning."
As the songstress said in her remarks, the show is attempting to raise specific mindfulness about the cruel substances encompassing worldwide instruction—or the deficiency in that department.
"Around the globe, 61 million kids & children of primary school age are denied a learning and education and very nearly 200 million young people are without access to a lesser or secondary school," the Global Citizen site peruses. "About 75 million kids have seen their training upset by strife and common debacle and 61 million of those are as of now out of school."
